To honor and maintain these standards to all their customers, InSite works with FireStart to build their complex processes that allow for a robust process landscape with a strong governance structure and maximum automation for peak company-wide efficiency. After a successful launch with their property management workflow, InSite plans to build additional workflow projects with FireStart, intending for FireStart to be its sole process management and workflow automation tool in the future.
To relieve employees of confusing tasks, FireStart provides customizable tasks and forms that are sent directly to a user’s email portal. Complex integration to third-party systems gave InSite the ability to add and edit data and important documents directly in these forms to allow employees to remain in their usual work environment (SharePoint, Outlook) and manage their tasks from there. With such a complex process, consisting of over 900 steps and spanning an execution timeline of several months, FireStart was able to provide a property purchase workflow with a robust process governance for easy change management and stable maintainability for the ability adapt to any changes that may come in the future of InSite’s technology landscape. Lastly, FireStart provides an interface for employees to give an overview of running execution for full transparency so every employee is kept in the loop.
FireStart has enhanced collaboration and governance while allowing users to focus on the decision making process as tasks are simplified and documentation production is automated. Use of API and data integration has allowed creation of custom dashboards providing stake holders complete visibility to the purchase process so the resources can be diverted accordingly in a time sensitive and competitive commercial real estate market, while minimizing risks.
