AKOA Becomes a FireStart Partner
It was love at first sight! It only took us 4 days to realise that AKOA and FireStart are a perfect fit for each other, and we are happy to officially announce the beginning of our partnership.
AKOA – Another Kind of Automation, is a Stockholm-based automation pure-play company and one of the leading automation providers that leverage the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic process automation (RPA). Their goal is to deliver scalable, end-to-end automation, such as virtual assistants or chatbots, by combining Intelligent BPM (iBPM) and RPA.
To get a better insight into what this partnership entails, we have asked AKOA to answer some questions about challenges we can solve together, the future of automation, and the benefits of this collaboration for each party.
Why did you decide to become a FireStart Partner?
FireStart offers an easy-to-use iBPM tool for designing and documenting processes as well as workflow tools for executing processes. Apart from documenting your processes and gaining an overview, you can also manage them and connect other automation tools such as UiPath, BluePrism, or Abbyy.
What are the specific business challenges that can be solved by the joint expertise of AKOA and FireStart?
With FireStart, customers can model their processes and map workflows. This is a great start for further automations which are autonomously executed by unattended bots provided by AKOA. The seamless connection between FireStart and RPA Tools sets the base for complex workflows, e.g. handling of invoices, onboarding of new employees, and other administrative tasks, etc.
How do you see the future of RPA and BPM and what do you believe are the synergies of combining the two solutions?
BPM offers the possibility to document and discover processes. Workflows are managing the processes, whereas RPA frees the employees from repetitive, tedious tasks and executes processes autonomously whenever needed, regardless of timing (24/7). The combination is the missing link between organizational processes and the automated processes.
“Connecting the business processes (BPM) with process automation technologies like RPA by combining them seamlessly into the daily workflows. This will enable processes to be started while having an overview of the status and pending tasks. The combination will lead to a more transparent automation and business process operation, easier management, and even more time savings for our customers.”
Andreas Schmelzer, CEO AKOA Austria
How does the combination of AKOA and FireStart create an ideal solution for customers?
Both companies focus on easy-to-use solutions for their customers. While FireStart offers the possibility to design, document, and manage business processes, AKOA contributes their automation expertise and state of the art technologies like RPA (robotic process automation), chatbots, etc.
Therefore, the clients do not have to deal with the technology in the background and are able to have an overview from top-level processes to detailed automation solutions with easy integrations into daily business.
“We are very excited about our new partnership with AKOA. They have automation in their blood and really understand how to translate the automation journey into a long-term digitalization strategy for our clients. AKOA and FireStart both share the same obsession with customer success, user experience and speed of delivery. Therefore, I am super optimistic that we are heading towards a very successful partnership with them.”
Robert Hutter, Founder & CEO
What are your expectations for the future partnership of AKOA and FireStart?
Connecting the technologies and needs with a customer-centric approach. This means, being able to start with the business processes and integrate automation afterward, as well as the other way round. Establishing best practice use cases to stand out from our competition. Focusing 100% on process automation also needs the business processes and a human point of view.
What benefits does this partnership bring to AKOA?
Despite the overview of processes, the continuous management is essential to keeping processes alive. Therefore, the iBPM Suite can contribute to evolving further automation projects.
