FireStart becomes UiPath Advanced Technology Partner

Hot news – FireStart has reached the UiPath Advanced Technology Partner status. UiPath’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology and FireStart’s premium Enterprise Workflow platform will be now able to deliver even more powerful solutions to support our customers on their automation journey.

Founded in New York City in 2005, UiPath has gained global recognition as one of the fastest growing tech companies in North America. Most notably, its platform contains one of the best Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems in tech.

While RPA and iBPMS systems share similar benefits and goals, they specialize in different areas – RPA builds personalized automations for repetitive user tasks, while iBPMS is replacing e-mails and Excel sheets with human-centric task forms for better decision making, data management and process governance.

In this partnership, FireStart brings a crucial element to the table – the possibility to design a smooth end-to-end business process that serves as the process governance and home of any robot a user might implement. Robots are built in the UiPath studio, the FireStart Manager helps to build and automate the end-to-end business process scenario and maintain the governance in the further development. This way FireStart helps to connect the dots between people and software robots along the value chain. Both technologies work with a low-code approach, aiming to support citizen developers and speed up the whole development process.

FireStart and UiPath have harnessed the synergy of iBPMS and RPA through several new integrations in their respective software.

For example:

Within the UiPath Studio you can:

  • Initiate FireStart workflows and submit arguments
  • Trigger intermediate events in the FireStart workflow and submit arguments

Within the FireStart Client you can:

  • Start a UiPath job within a FireStart Workflow
  • Add a queue item
  • Check the status of a job/ queue item and get the output

A more specific example is Employee Onboarding. This process usually consists of a complex list of tasks that must be done manually. The issues resulting from the HR onboarding process can be easily resolved by the integration of FireStart and UiPath and result in a more transparent, automated, and consistent HR Onboarding process.

FireStart and UiPath integration

FireStart is thrilled to be taking this next step in our partnership with UiPath and we can’t wait to skyrocket to new levels of process excellence together.
