FireStart @ SharePoint Fest Chicago: Our Recap
An article by MinhThao Dang
Another spectacular event in a beautiful city! SharePoint Fest Chicago was the perfect event to close the event series, and the conference season for FireStart NA, for the 2019 year.
Before the recap, we’d like to extend a big thank you to the organizers of the SharePoint Fest conference series for their long hours of planning and constant support throughout the past year.
Although the FireStart booth staff spent the majority of their time networking with attendees and other sponsors in the exhibitor’s hall, SP Fest Chicago offered five exciting conference days that consisted of learning from the world’s leading SharePoint, Office365, Azure and Microsoft Teams experts. With 3 conference days and 2 additional optional workshop days, conference attendees were able to choose from over 130 sessions in multiple tracks and 25 workshops.
As this year’s Diamond Sponsor, we had a large, glowing booth space that allowed for lots of traffic from curious attendees and fellow sponsors. When the keywords ‘Automation’, ‘Integration’ or ‘Modeling’ caught someone’s eye, they would approach, keen on learning more about FireStart’s capabilities with powerful workflows both inside and outside of the Microsoft ecosystem. With two demo stations at the booth constantly being worked, attendees saw that FireStart’s process management and workflow automation platform is all about creating workflows that are integrated with their business processes and fully connected to their enterprise applications, like SharePoint. FireStart makes it easy to build, connect, and deploy workflow solutions across all business applications to allow anyone to develop, automate, and optimize in confidence. FireStart’s main goal is to present the ease of developing fully integrated workflows that are aligned with our customer’s strategic goals.
In Chicago, we held two speaking sessions, one specializing in the topic of automation technologies and a guide on when you need to use each one, and a solution showcase. Although our VP North America, Shyamal Addanki, was unfortunately unable to physically be in Chicago for the conference, he still made sure to do a remote session from Europe to present his session and showcase his expertise in business process management and automation. With a 70-minute time slot, Shyamal discussed how automation technologies are changing the way companies have traditionally used SharePoint and workflow engines and explored the different ways of thinking that are required when we embrace the Process Automation Revolution.
We are so excited for another year of inspiring events filled with learning about new technologies and networking with professionals and friends from around the globe.
